About

Employees at Northeast Rehab have joined together and have created the Northeast Chapter of AMBUCSTM.  AMBUCSTM is a national non-profit organization whose goal is to improve mobility and independence for people with disabilities.

AmTryke® is a division of AMBUCSTM and has distributed over 9,400 special needs tricycles around the world, including many children right in our own back yards. These adaptive tricycles help to improve strength and coordination as well as impact social interactions, communication, and boost self-confidence.

Northeast Rehab is an official demo site where children and adults can come to be fitted for their own adaptive tricycle. For families who are not able to purchase the tricycle, the person’s name is placed on our Wish List.  Donations made to our chapter help to purchase tricycles for the people on this list.

The Northeast Chapter was officially established on May 24, 2010. The initial Board of Directors include; Lory Grenier, President, Jon Greenwood, Vice-president, Jennifer Kelley, Secretary, Deb Dine, Treasurer, and Gerriann Samowski. Membership fees are $50 annually.

If you are interested in becoming part of this exciting organization, contact us at 603-893-2900 x 3524. Donations can also be made to our local chapter for the purpose of helping families on our Wish List to obtain these special tricycles.
